Coloured hi vis vests other than yellow and orange tend not to conform to en iso 20471 as the amount of hi vis material does not meet the required visibility tests, but they still have reflective tape and are useful for where en471 is not a requirement and for identifying staff or departments etc.
Many of our customers and clients choose to order different coloured hi vis vests. They do this so that they can assign a colour to each department that makes up their business. Staff from that particular section will then wear that singular colour.
Some firms, however, choose to assign a colour to particular roles and ranks within the company. Though used to differentiate between staff, the primary function of this product remains for staff to be easily visible and well seen in the workplace.
